Adult Choir Director (Part-time)

Adult Choir Director (Part-time)

Overview

The position of Part-Time Choir Director at Moffett Memorial Baptist Church focuses primarily upon preparation of the Adult Choir for worship services on Sunday mornings and special occasions. Moffett’s volunteer choir is gifted and capable of performing a wide range of pieces and styles.

There is one worship service at 10:30am on Sunday mornings and the worship style is blended. The Adult Choir sings an anthem during each Sunday morning worship service and sometimes participates in worship on various special occasions such as Good Friday and Christmas Eve.

The Adult Choir practices each Wednesday evening at 7:00pm. Additional practices are held on an “as needed” basis when preparing for larger events such as Christmas Cantatas. The Adult Choir typically takes one month off in the summer (July or August).
